Weber County recognizes our ability to achieve our objectives successfully depends on the wellbeing of our employees. We acknowledge that the key elements of workplace wellness include the physical and cultural environments as well as the policies, practices, and procedures that guide our work.
Weber County strives to provide a healthy workplace that values and enhances the health and wellbeing of all employees. This workplace wellness program provides the foundation for developing activities and modifying work environments, policies, and practices to support the health and wellbeing of all employees. Positive benefits are also likely to extend beyond employees to result in better health for families and communities.
The workplace wellness program includes a gym reimbursement program, quarterly wellness challenges with rewards, wellness resources, and much more.
The gym membership reimbursement program is available to all benefit eligible employees who have been employed by Weber County for a minimum of six months. If you join one of your corporate partner fitness centers (EOS or VASA) and make at least eight (8) visits per month you will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $17 per month.
In order to receive reimbursement, you must sign the Gym Membership Reimbursement Agreement. Once signed, please enter your gym attendance. There are two (2) ways to enter, scan QR code or click the button below.
The quarterly wellness challenges are built to promote physical, emotional, intellectual, environmental, financial, spiritual, and social wellness. There are multiple challenges each quarter and you can pick the wellness challenges based on your individual wellness goals. You don’t have to complete every challenge, just pick ones that you feel are appropriate for your health needs. Each challenge is worth a certain amount of points. At the end of each quarter, if you have 150+ points, you can chose from the following quarterly reward:
